Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Crafts . . . Even if you don't like her, you've GOT to admit she's got some awesome ideas (or maybe it's the minions who work for her!) Either way, I went to Barnes and Noble to get some GRE supplies and slowly drifted my way over to the craft section and once again flipped through the pages of this beautiful book.
I went home looked it up on Better World Books website and added it to my cart. It's only a matter of time before I "Proceed to Checkout".
I want to make EVERYTHING out of that book! And I think I might.
In true "Julia & Julia" style, I just might have to devote part of my blog to documenting my attempts to make every craft project and posting how mine turn out!
I have been doing some crafting on my own. I've been kind of IPod Case/Cell Phone/Camera Case obsessed. But it's been very satisfying to work through my stash of awesome yarns and put them to use. The one pictured is one I like to call Pumpkin Acid. I like it because no matter what, I can always spot it in my purse!
I gave one to David (knit in ACU camo colors per his request) and apparently one of his soldiers wants one! (Luckily I already have 2 other camo colored cases! haha)
I do plan to list these on Etsy, eventually. But time to focus on Operation GRE - T minus 4 days and counting!
So time to start studying, get over the fact I don't remember hardly ANY math.
