The Baby Momma's Necklace

I am NOT a Momma (don't want to cause any confusion) but I like to call this the Baby Momma's Necklace.

Have you ever made something with one intention, then realized it's better for a whole other purpose? Well that's the case with this necklace. I originally made this necklace modeled after a high-fashion Lanvin design I talked about in a previous POST HERE. But with the wooden beads I made it a little more "everyday funk". I'm a fan of funky jewelry and this is something I can wear in the summer with a tank top, t-shirt, jeans & cute ballet flats or sandals.

Then after church one Sunday where a little girl a few pews up couldn't take her eyes off my necklace, I realized that girls of ALL ages might like this necklace. Then I remembered how little babies are ALWAYS grabbing at their Mom's necklaces, earrings, eyeglasses, whatever they can get their cute chubby little hands & mouths on. Well, this is one necklace they can grab away at, slobber on, and not ruin!

You can hand wash this necklace, and it won't break! (Unless you have SUPER BABY!)
Thus, the new Baby Momma necklace! You can shop for this at my Etsy store or at Swank in Southern Pines. There are lots more colors available that shown at either store, so contact me if you don't see your favorite color!
