Craft and Cockroaches

Battle #1: The fight to finish my felted bowls.
I am finally finishing one of my felted bowls that has taken me a particularly long time to complete. Over a year now. Not because it is THAT time intensive, I've just slowly worked on it for some time now. First I had the bowl knit, probably May of not this past May, but the May before that. I remember because I was working on it while teaching a kids knitting camp at Bella Filati and hubby was off at basic training! So I correct myself, this last one has taken me over a year and a half to finish!
So after having knit the bowl almost 1 1/2 years ago, I only just now felted it about a month ago. Not quite sure how I wanted to embellish it, it has sat on the dryer until yesterday when I decided I was going to Polka Dot the hell out of it! So far there's not enough Polka Dots but I'll keep working on it!
I am making progress on this battle, and once I have won it will be on Etsy!

Battle #2: Cockroaches in the home.
We live in the South. Yes we do. Now I haven't seen many cockroaches in our home but seeing one is enough! I've been using this baseboard spray, and one by one they turn up on their backsides. This morning another little cockroach was found dead. A warning to all cockroaches: I will find you. And I will crush you. You will not live in my house.

I must say, I like my crafting battles much better.
