From Hotel Hopping to Home!

It's not QUITE official but we are in the process of owning our FIRST HOME!
After less than 1 week of house hunting we found a home we loved - made an offer, received a counter offer and made another offer which was accepted approximately 1 hour before the deadline!
David and I jumped up and down with excitement (actually I jumped up and down) when I heard our agent tell David "Congratulations!"
That was Tuesday! And we're so on the ball we had the inspector come out yesterday check out the house! After about 3 hours of poking, prodding, searching and scouring the home, we have a list of things that need to be addressed. None seem TOO major, but I don't know how this stuff goes. We've got our fingers crossed everything can be taken care of somewhat simply.
While we're SUPER excited, I don't think we're quite believe it until we've got the keys in our hands.
After those first few days of looking at homes that just weren't us at all (including neighborhoods without trees) we are completely thrilled! The home is located in the Historic St. Elmo district of Columbus. It's less than 2 miles Uptown and the 15 mile Riverwalk that goes from Uptown all the way to Benning along the river. It's also about 4 blocks up from an extremely active park where a local highschool runs track, children and young families play on the jungle gym, people play pick up games of ultimate, adult soft ball leagues meet, women have "bootcamp" workouts . . . it truly is extremely active!
And the home is SUPER CUTE TO BOOT!
