We see it all the time and all I can ask is, Why?
Why do businesses and companies feel the need to misspell things for no particular reason?
I have few pet peeves. Two actually that drive me crazy. The one I can't think of right now, but the one I can, is when signs have intentional misspellings.
Driving home from Louisville, I see a sign for "Korrect Optical". Seriously?
First of all, WHY did you spell correct with a "K"? There is NO reason for it! And isn't it kind of ironic that they are spelling "correct" incorrectly!
I am usually a very level headed and easy going person, but when I see these signs, it honestly makes my blood boil and I get very worked up. Even now . . . whew, I'm over it.
Anyways . . . on another note, we went to the mall and I ordered some of my china salad plates. They were on sale AND I got an additional 15% off for registry completion. So that makes me happy!
I also had fun trying on hats. Since we are in Kentucky with the Derby right around the corner, Macy's had a huge section of AWESOME hats! I LOVED IT!
All in all, we had a good day.
Oh yea, and David rescued a dog from the side of the road. Before our Louisville bound day, we saw a Bassett Hound wandering on the side AND in the middle of the highway. We pulled around and realizing he must have been lost or abandoned, we found a shelter in Louisville to take him in (after Hardin County Humane Society couldn't take him because they are closing in a matter of weeks.) So, if you know anyone missing a Bassett Hound, or wanting to adopt, look up the Louisville Humane Society, and he'll be there! I'm glad I married a softie who couldn't let a lost dog wander the highway.
