What I Wore Wednesday - And a BANG Breakthrough.

It's Wednesday, so I'm playing over at the Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.

But don't forget ENTER TO WIN MY GIVEAWAY!

After looking at so many cute outfits and photos, I realized my standintheexactsamespotselftimer pose was pretty lamo as evidenced from last week AND the week before. So before going out to meet up with friends I asked my husband to take a photo. After seeing how uncomfortable I looked he said, relax, do a silly pose. And this is what happened.

Pink Chiffon Top on Sale at Target - $7
My NEW favorite New York & Co Jeans - $30 with a discount coupon
Cashmere Cardigan - $4 thifted
Necklace - made by ME
Boots (that you can't in the photo, but that you can see HERE.) - $70 on sale
*Realizing that it is not a flattering outfit - PRICELESS.

Anyways, I'm tying to "get better". As good as I can with no full length mirror and armed with a 6 year-old point & shoot self-timer and my MacBook camera.

Navy Jacket Blazer - $5 thrifted
Yellow Weird Material Shirt - $3 thrifted
Bootcut Jeans for Flats - $20 at Kmart
Yellow Flats - $20 from Rackroom shoes. Remember when I replaced my old shoes?
Necklace - made by ME

Chocolate Cardigan - $15 at Marshalls
Cobalt Blue Tank Top - $6 at Kmart
My NEW favorite New York & Co Jeans - $30 with a discount coupon
Boots - same as above
Bracelet - really a necklace wrapped twice
Handknit Cowl - made by ME
* Finally realizing how to actually make my bangs look like bangs, PRICELESS.

One day I want to do a post full of the horrible things I wear around the house. The ridiculous pajama pant/ugg/big sweater outfits that only my husband gets to see. And another post I swear I'm just going to dress up from the fun stuff in my closet and pretend that I get to wear it. Who's with me?

Don't forget about my GIVE-AWAY!!! Win a $75 gift certificate to my shop, and a $25 gift certificate for your blog, or 2 gift certificates for friends!

  3. You are so cute! I do what I can with what I've got in the photography dept. too. That usually means my 8 year old being behind the camera haha.
