What I Wish (I wore) Wednesday

Welcome to the first installment of What I Wish Wednesdays!

Over at the Pleated Poppy Blog, Lindsey hosts a "What I Wore Wednesday" party. I thought about linking up today for the first time but since I was still in my pajamas (and still am) I decided to play around with what I WISH I wore Wednesdays and have it be the first of, What I Wish Wednesdays.

Yesterday I made this Super Sweet Girlie Girl Valentine Necklace, complete with tiny red bows. I LOVE it. Definitely a step outside my "usual" style of design, but then again I don't REALLY stick to any particular style. I've branded myself as eclectic and I'd say I stay pretty true to that.

Anytime I make a piece of jewelry or any item for that matter, I picture the million different ways I'd wear it, style it, or use it. And since this necklace is a little outside my usual realm, it took me a minute to picture exactly how I would wear it and that's when I got on Photoshop and started dragging photos from my favorite online stores - Anthropologie, Modcloth & Etsy to come up with this outfit.

It's my Eclectic, Modern take on a Valentine's Date outfit. If you can't tell, I'm a shoe-aholic, which is why I couldn't just pick out ONE pair of shoes. This is pretend shopping, so I can have as many shoe changes as I want, right?

B&W Button Earrings from TheJellyBeanJunction

White & Black Button Earrings from shagpile.

The Emerald Wicklow Dress from Anthropologie.

Front Row Fashion Wedge from Modcloth.

Words Can't Express Heel in Red from Modcloth.

Jukebox Tights in the Twist from Modcloth.

Limited Edition Miss Fifty clutch from BagatellesAndCo.

Well I guess it's time for me to actually get dressed and go to the grocery store. I promise you, I am NOT dressed in the above outfit. Maybe in New York City, but not in Army-town Georgia.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week!
