Today I don't like Etsy.
And that's simply because my stuff doesn't sell on there like it does in stores!
I know my photos are pretty bad. And I know that's like the NUMBER ONE THING that's important. (Aside from awesome stuff of course!) *Sigh* I just need to take the time to take better photos.
Now I do love photography. When I'm doing it for photography's sake. But when it's to take a photo just for the sake of listing ... that's not the fun part. I need a new attitude I think. I'm a graphic design graduate afterall! What's my problem?!
But really, I'd rather spend my time creating then listing, and relisting.
I guess I should at least by happy that I do have a store where my designs sell!
I need an assistant to do the not-so-fun part.
Anyone, anyone? Know a good "assistant"?
Maybe I'll put up a poster at the highschool. Hmmmm. Now I'm just thinking and typing.
Anyways, here's the latest high-quality photo of the beaded bangles I'll be sending off to Swank shortly!
Taken with MacBook Pro, PhotoBook application with flash.
Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm just being lazy or something about not taking better photos. Any of you out there have similar frustrations? Thoughts on how to get more traffic to my etsy store? I think I know the answer. Better photos.
