Swank and Mistletoe Market

Mississippi Mud has been quite busy this Thanksgiving break! You can now check me out on FACEBOOK, become a fan and see pictures of the latest designs!

While in North Carolina, I (Mississippi Mud) managed to get some of my jewelry and creations in the adorable shop downtown Southern Pines called SWANK. It is exactly the kind of store I'd love to own, or even just work in! It's basically a brick and mortar Esty store meets local coffee shop. They carry only handmade crafts from local artists. I was amazed walking around seeing the creativity and talent that pours out from the area. And they have great coffee to boot - they made a skinny Peppermint Mocha just like I like! If you're in Southern Pines area, you should definitely stop in and keep an eye out for my creations, of course!

In other Mississippi Mud news, while I was vending at the St. Anne craft fair some of the other vendors told me about the upcoming Mistletoe Market in Columbus, GA. I was able to call and reserve a spot for December 13th. Although now that more than half of what I had is now at SWANK, I need to get crafting! So if you're in Georgia, stop by 102 7th Street from 12-6pm. And I'm sure the Holiday Tour of Homes will be wonderful as well!

Thanksgiving in Charlotte was a blast - missed my DH but enjoyed being surrounded by family and my adorable niece and nephews. I've enjoyed a wonderful visit in Southern Pines, both mine and David's old stomping grounds, and home to his folks. Tomorrow I'm off to Laurinburg to visit my parents, then back to Georgia I go in time for my CSU grad school entrance interview on Friday.

It's been a whirlwind, but that's how the holidays are!
