Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday, September 20th was our One Year Wedding Anniversary! Can't believe how the time has flown by.

From the very beginning, there's been a long of changes. Starting off with our wedding date! I still have some wedding favors that I dated 11/29/08 . . . those are now the special edition wedding favors! And here we are a year later, after a month apart while DH was in Oklahoma, after a move to Kentucky and surviving its ice storm, after another move back to North Carolina, then temporary living in Georgia, to house hunting, to another month apart while DH was in California, to buying a house, to being settled in OUR HOME on OUR ANNIVERSARY. What a wonderful year.

And our cake survived! For the most part it held up for the year UNTIL it was set on the dining room table while we went for a walk. Now, when I saw Georgia is humid, IT IS HUMID! Our wedding cake couldn't handle it and the icing slid off the sides!

We still managed to have the obligatory bite and toasted each other with our champagne glasses. Then I donned the dress one year later and still felt pretty special.

It's pretty amazing how one question can change the course of your life.

You know the one . . . "Will you marry me?"

Couldn't be happier with each day that passes that I said yes.
