So, where do I start? The beginning . . . Today is Monday. I just came back from visiting my fiance who is just in week 6 of Officers Candidate School for the Army at Ft. Benning in Georgia. We've know each other since we were 14 and 16, and on February 9th of this year he surprised me and got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. He's made me the happiest woman in this world, and I can't wait to be his bride, his Army wife on November 29th. This is now my fourth attempt at my First Blog, but this one is gonna stick.
Back in real life in North Carolina, I manage the local Luxury Yarn shop (which his Mom dreamed up and opened four years ago) while trying to balance wedding planning, and all my "crafting" ideas.
Why blog, why now? I have always been a "catalog-er" from starting lists of "My Favorite Movies" to starting a "Most Embarassing Moments" page in my journal. I hope this will be a way to catalog my ideas, memories and moments. A world-wide-web way to document some of the "goings on".
