Since I have nothing noteworthy to show you how to do today, I thought I'd post a few photos and links on how to do a few things I'm totally interested in doing.
HOW TO BUILD a Bookshelf on a Wall - found HERE in Popular Mechanics.
Okay, I'm TOTALLY showing this to my husband. He likes projects, maybe he'll like this one since it would be the perfect solution to our weird little mudroom. Oh I'm excited all ready, but I probably better keep dreaming for a while on this one.
HOW TO MAKE An Upholstered Headboard Wall found HERE.
Since we've been in our house for over a year and a half now, we've been through 3 headboards. I switched the one from the guest bedroom and the master bedroom around once, and now our headboard is the wall. I'm weird about beds and headboards - and frankly while I like the way they look, they always seems to lean into the bed if that makes sense. Anyways, I'm always looking at different headboards, and when I saw this tutorial I thought it was SUPER cool. Maybe one day. Let's see if I ever paint the room cream first.
HOW TO SEW a Sewing Machine Cover found HERE.
Ever since I saw this on Sparkle Power I thought it was perfect. Since my sewing machine often grace's our kitchen table, I thought instead of lugging it from room to room, a sweet little cover would make it an "acceptable" accessory on the table. Now THIS project I might actually attempt!
Find any noteworthy tutorials out there in bloggyland?
Love the sewing machine cover one! Hope Studios has a whole Tutorial Tuesday party going on right now with some great tutorials. :)
