Brushes & Beverages

Apparently these shops are opening up all over the place under the names of, Sips & Strokes, Corks & Canvases, Brushes & Beverages, and I'm sure there are even more clever name combinations! I think it's the newest "Paint-Your-Own-Pottery" place of today.

A group of us girlfriends all got together this past Saturday and had a lot of fun! Although I am definitely NOT a painter, I do have a little experience painting, between art class in high school and the two painting classes I took in college. However, I did NOT enjoy my painting classes in college. In fact, I don't think I saved a single painting, that's how good they were! But after this little outing, I remember what fun it CAN be! I would love to do more of it, except I'm a messy painter! Either way, it was fun to do a craft I don't normally do. A nice little creative break!

I suggest looking for a Brushes & Beverages (Sips & Strokes, Corks & Canvases ... ) and giving it a try! Or if you're brave, and have the space, host one of these at your home!
