*Necklace Designs by Amber

I tend to think of my style as eclectic.
I love feminine & delicate designs: all things lacey and dangly. But I am also drawn to bold patterns & bright colors: polka dots and nautical stripes. Right now my jewelry is a mix of both. My Beaded Bangles are chunky, with a mix of colors from Tribal to Colorful Crayons then soften up to Shades of Pearl & Golden Amber. Meanwhile, my crochet wire jewelry & earring designs tend to play up to my need for delicate & feminine flourishes.

Last week at market a customer had on a tiny gold chain, with one tiny wire wrapped briolet. I wanted it - I LOVED the simplicity of it. I walk the fence between both these worlds. Between simple and understated to bold and graphic.

Today on Etsy I stumbled across THIS jewelry designer and LOVE her designs. I love the simplicity of the seed beads to the chunky & bold stones. I have a glass jar filled with some beautiful stone beads that I just haven't known what to do with yet. They are too heavy for earrings, and I just couldn't quite come up with a necklace design I loved.

Until now! Oh beads, how I can't wait to play ... who would have thought beads could bring a girl such happiness!

What crafting supply brings you such happiness? Scrapbook paper, colored pencils, fabric?
