The Valentine's Dinner Clutch in Progress

I have this little crafting habit. And I like to craft in "batches." When I decide to make a Scarflet Necklace, I don't just make one, I make a batch of them. When I made my iPod/iPhone/Cell Phone/Camera Case, I made 17 of them. When I knit my Cool Girl Cowls, I made 11 of them. When I make earrings, I sit down and make at least 5 of them. I get in a zone. A crafting zone.
Well, last night I got in the zone to reknit another Quick & Class Clutch (one of my purse designs that was included in One-Skein Wonders). I still think it's such a cute purse! However, I don't think I'll make a batch of them. I might even decide to keep this one and not try and sell it on Etsy, but we'll see! They would make really great Valentine's Dinner clutches!!! I just thought I'd post a picture of the clutch before it's finished form. Tomorrow I'll go to Michaels and try and hunt down a flex-frame, and then post some finished photos!
I'm looking forward to seeing the flex-frame handles! I widdled for hours on those dowels! :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your variations on the clutch! Cute!
Oh no!!! But you're right, the "wittling" took longer than the purse! Hopefully I'll have success finding the frames tomorrow so I can post pictures! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteREALLY cute!!! I was just thinking about your cowl's and I wanted to throw it out there that if you want me to take some pictures of you in them or if you want me to model some of them for your etsy shop, I would love to! A girls gotta help a girl out- lol. I am sure in the near future I will be asking for you to help me take some pictures too :) I am not sure Caleb would be able to aim real well! Really cute purse though- very vintage shabby chic looking :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I will take you up on that offer! I can only do so good a job with myself and the mac photobooth for photos! haha! Thanks :-) Have fun in ATLANTA and the fam!
