So, chopping onions makes my eyes water. Like, crazy-pain-eye-watering-out-of-control. Even writing about it makes my eyes start to tear. But . . . onions are a necessary evil of cooking. While making dinner the other night, and frequently having to step away from the onions, my clever little husband had the perfect solution. He geared me up with his gas mask!
While it did work, I was slightly claustrophobic and couldn't quite adjust to breathing with a gas mask on, making the tears almost worth it!

Hey Sarah. My mom had a really bad onion cutting problem the other night and we lit a candle and that took care of it. I'm also really bad with onions.We got snow down here twice. Once 2 weeks ago, and yesterday. But it's already half gone. No schools were delayed or anything. But the first time, schools were out and I finally talked to the guy I'm crushing on.

I'll try the candle trick next time, that sounds like it would be easier than the gas mask!

When I had crushes, I called them "crinkles" because they were too small to even be called crushes!

Hey Mrs! Love the pictures :o). If you want to take it down a notch, my friend wears swim goggles when she cuts onions...ski goggles would work too. But hey, you do look cute sportin' the gas mask. I'm not sure anyone else could pull it off.
